You're lucky Ginamonster. My men have always had an unnatural interest in ESPN and Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I dated one who liked ESPN, but I doubt he was indulging in the pabst. I learned later that cocaine was more his style. But I don't think he was doing that when we were seeing each other.

It doesn't have to be a contest. They both have their bright sides.

I once saw a documentary where a guy injected heroin into a vein in his testicle. It was hard to watch, I tell you.

Heroin addicts will take it any way they can.The drug actually changes your brain chemicals so that you really are chemically in neeed of it. Also, it makes you crave sugar.

My dad drank that. He also made the best beer-battered chicken with it.

I wish they sold beer in singles like pop. This is because I love to cook with it, but won't have it around the house otherwise. I have to use cooking sherry or rice wine instead.

I believe you can still purchase beer by the bottle in many places if you want to cook with it but don't want a six-pack around the house.
7-11 or local delis usually have it by the bottle. I occasionally buy a 32.oz for an after work beverage.

They also tend to steal from people to finance their habit if they can't afford it otherwise. I once knew a guy in college who stole $500 and a computer from me because he needed heroin. Someone saw him trying to sell the computer and he got busted. I got my computer back but not the $$. The kid did a week in jail. Still a junkie I hear. Confused

Probably always will be. sad.

It is truly heartbreaking when you hear what people will give up for drugs. I am glad I have never gotten involved with them. I have seen how it can tear a family apart.

I had a terrible nightmare last night that a clown was trying to have his way with me on a tiny boat in the middle of the ocean. In my struggle against this devious clown, I yanked off it's mask and it turned out that it was Gina in disguise. Luckily my alarm woke me up. I drove to work in a cold sweat.
