is it JUST chinese or the asian culture... refering to the asian culture by saying chinese is very offensive to me. thats like me refering to americans, canadians, british and the "white" race as swedish or russians. Like me calling all "blacks" as south african or nigerian, not that those countries are bad. i am vietnamese and if u ever visited both vietnam and china you would see that the culture is very different. different language, different style of food, different looks. if u ment asian, i would say Bun Bo Hue, if u ment just the chinese i would say fried noodles. btw PHO is vietnamese.

you did put the word chinese in bold, so i appologize for gettin' worked up. I just experience this type of racism for a really long time, including "Chinese New Years" which should be called "Lunar New years" but people never take the time to think

What's the deal with MSG anyway? Must they use it? It gives me the whopper. Do they use this in other Asian cuisine? Without it would the food taste more like russian (white people) food?

We just covered this in chemistry class.

MSG is Mono sodium glutemate. Table salt is DI sodium glutemate.

MSG is a smaller molecule and takes up less room. It's really crowded over there, so smaller salt makes room for more people.

It has to do with natural resources. That why the food is all cut up and cooked really fast in a wock(sp?)

Over there there isnt much natural gas and they have no room for extra salt molecules.
