I was thinkin about going to prom this year. But, all the stories I hear, it sounds like it is just a waste of time and you don't get what you pay for. That is if someone is not taking you, so therefore, they should pay for you. So, would you go??

Go. I loved my prom. if noone has asked you, ask a friend, that's what I did.

i've heard scary stories about prom, being stood up, people laughing at you...pigs blood
but thats just me, i'm paranoid, you should go.

I went to prom with a friend. It was fun.

My prom could have sucked. But I made the best of it and had the attitude of, "This is my night, I'm goign to have fun" and I would have, with or without a date. Skitzo, I think those horrible stories happen mostly in movies. I went to prom twice, the first time, I had a nice time, the second, I had a blast!

i guess your right, most of my friends are upper classmates anbd they like to scare me ; i feel so slow. (I was just kidding about the pigs blood, Carrie is one of my personal favorites)
